Kolmanskop

Kolmanskop mining town was abandoned more than a half century ago in the southern part of Namibia. Parts of Namibia are extremely remote, especially for the deserted mining town of Kolmanskop. Kolmanskop was created as a diamond mining town more than 100 years ago, and is a fantastic location for photographers. I have visited the area many times, with my first trip in 2006, and plan on returning many times in the future.
